The Packaging Audit Process

  • The audit begins with a customer, working to improve their processes and cut costs. Sometimes a specific need is present, other times only an intuitive sense that methods need to change.
  • New-Tech brings an audit team of two to ten people, depending on the scope of the problem, with the intent of fully understanding the company's packaging processes and of significantly reducing costs.
  • Time on-site performing tests ranges from several hours to several weeks.
  • Afterwards, the auditors bring their diverse backgrounds, knowledge, and experience into lively discussions about how to solve the customer's problem.
  • New-Tech reports its findings and ideas for solutions back to the customer in a detailed, tailor-made proposal.
  • Authentic value creation only occurs when answers are provided and money can be saved. Otherwise, the process is an empty exercise, a waste of time. When a link stops adding value, it is no longer needed in the supply chain. By identifying and removing unnecessary links, New-Tech saves the customer money and improves the package.
